Everything Loom does, and what it doesn’t.
How Loom works
Loom turns a public X post into a complete memecoin concept: a name, a ticker, a short description, a tagline, launch posts for X and Telegram, and three logo options. You pick a logo, review everything, and launch the coin on pump.fun from your own wallet.
Loom helps you avoid a broken launch — typos, copycat names, mismatched art. It has no effect on price or on whether anyone buys.
Launching a coin
- Open Launch, connect your wallet and paste a link to a public X post. The first time, your wallet asks you to sign a short “Sign in to Loom” message. It’s free: not a transaction, and it moves nothing.
- Review the concept. You can edit any text; edits go through the same safety checks before they save.
- Pick one of the three logos, press New logos for three more, or upload your own. Only the one you choose is uploaded.
- Optionally choose an amount to buy at launch. The buy happens in the same transaction that creates the coin.
- Connect your wallet and press Sign & launch. Loom builds the transaction, your browser re-checks it and simulates the cost, and then your wallet asks you to sign.
Regenerate gives you a fresh concept with a different name each time.
Generating from an X post
Loom reads only the post’s text — never its images or links. The text is checked before anything is generated. Every coin links back to its post on its public page.
Logos
Each concept gets three AI-generated options: two glossy 3D mascots and one bold cartoon profile picture, built around the coin’s own subject. If the image service can’t produce one, that slot shows Loom’s simple generated mascot, clearly labeled fallback art.
New logos makes three more options for the same coin. Upload your own takes a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF up to 1.5 MB. Uploaded images aren’t reviewed, so only upload a picture you have the right to use.
Each wallet gets 20 generations a day. A generation, a regeneration and each press of New logos use one; uploads don’t.
Safety checks
- No coins that copy a real brand or an existing coin’s name or ticker.
- No copy that makes promises about profit or price.
- No copy that credits Loom for how a coin does.
- The same checks run again when you save an edit and when you press Sign & launch.
Your wallet & the network
- Non-custodial. Loom never sees your keys. Your wallet signs; the coin’s mint key is created in your browser and discarded after launch.
- Devnet. This version launches on Solana devnet, with test SOL that has no value. It cannot touch mainnet.
- Creator fees go to Loom. Every coin launched through Loom lists Loom’s wallet as its pump.fun creator, so pump.fun’s creator fees go to Loom. You sign, pay the launch cost, and keep any tokens you buy.
- Checked before you sign. Your browser independently verifies every account and instruction Loom built, and simulates the total cost (capped at 0.02 SOL, plus any buy at launch you choose).
Coin pages & sharing
Every launched coin gets a public page at /coin/<contract address> with its logo, price chart and on-chain links, and it appears in Explore. Drafts stay private. Share buttons post the coin’s tagline, contract address and page link.
